Since the Tiger Woods fiasco began, the golfing sensation has hardly been seen. Woods has definitely taken a low key approach to putting his life back in order. Before he returns to the golf course, Woods should meet the media — according to fellow golfer Geoff Ogilvy.

“Tiger should actually come out in public before,” said Ogilvy, “and not at a golf tournament.”

Recent reports have Woods in Hattiesburg, Mississippi in a sex rehab clinic. However, those stories have yet to be confirmed. Whatever steps Woods takes before stepping back on the golf course from his indefinite leave, Ogilvy thinks Woods needs to do it in a public manner prior to picking up the clubs.

“One, out of respect for all the other golfers,” commented Ogilvy, “and two, to diffuse the circus part of it before he actually gets to a golf tournament. I don’t believe a lot of tournaments want all the tabloid media floating around.”

Ogilvy is a 32-year-old from Australia. Earlier this month he won the SBS Championship and earned .12 million for his efforts.
